So no pictures of this Unicorn?1966 I had a friend that had a 1966 Sport Satellite. I still have the rear seat insert-nameplate somewhere.
Yup. RL was the Belvedere from ‘68-‘70. Were there ‘71 RL21’s? I’m not as up on the ‘71 forward.Changed again in '71.
"Satellite" kept moving down the price class line.
Sebring Plus was now "RP"
Satellite Sebring was now "RH
...and plain "Satellite" was now "RL"
I just learned yesterday that there were WP41 1968 Coronets. I haven’t seen an RP41 1968 “Belvedere”. Does anyone know of one?1968 as well. I think wagons as well with woodgrain.
I parted a rusty ‘69 Belvedere back in the 80’s. The only difference between it and the the hardtop appeared to be a welded in post. The doors are the same save for the glass. And of course it doesn’t have the rear window winders and corresponding door card.No more 2-door sedans in 71. All sedans were now 4-doors. Coronet and Satellite Custom.
