Same here... She's from near your neck of the woods so it must be a N.E. Ohio female thing...

Business as usual. Wife will cook 10X too much food. Adult children will come over with their significant others in tow. Everyone will gorge and bail and I'll get stuck cleaning up the kitchen. Like I said, business as usual...

Put a turkey on the smoker, drink real bier, smoke stogies.
Granddaughter and I will be making White Castle stuffing.
Don't laugh, its incredibly good.
Did I say drink bier?
Oh yeah...I have a bit of moon aged for a year in a once used JD barrel.

Hiding from my in-laws in the garage! Last year my father-in-law went full "Griswold" and backed their RV into the house. Hopefully this year will go smoother.

Just me, my wife, the boys and our dog. No strays this year (strays---my 20-something son's 20-something friends), just us. The strays actually have families to go to; they haven't, in previous years. We also call them our "rental kids". They call us "mom and dad", which took me awhile to get used to! I'm glad they call us that. All three come from dysfunctional/divorced households.

I'm looking forward a lot more to Christmas spaghetti!

my nephew Keith & his 2 girls & wife Masha may come

nothing really special, I may do a BBQ'd turkey

everyone else has plans somewhere else
most got their own families & lives, other inlaws etc.

or just too afraid ????, that's truly the sad part

I have sisters way up north, Redbluff NorCal
& Milwaukee/Portland area Oregon that usually come
but they will stay home this year

they & all their families, kids & their kids
are about 1/2 the usual crowd

my youngest sister down in the Bay Area is brainwashed
by the Chinese Wuhan Flu BS
I'm sure her, her husband & her daughter, all staying home

the one I really will miss is my elderly Aunt Joan
dad's sister
I can't remember a Thanksgiving without her
don't know how many more she has either
or my dad for that matter, but he lives with me

my boy is out on deployment (Navy), like always
I hope all is well

Just me and my Dog Gunner here. Bought a Butterball Turkey Breast to cook. Probably some stuffing and taters, and veggies.
Last year on Thanksgiving I was in Viet Nam at my Fiancé's house. She surprised me with a huge Thanksgiving meal, and invited many family members and friends....Still trying to get back there......

MI. governor did it again and now closed indoor dining, and 10 person limit indoors per household starting 11/18/20, So we are going make up and drop off some meals to those friends and family who will stay in
