I would think at $630 for the Mega kit they would include the ac/heater box gaskets. I contacted them/James and they told me that it is a separate kit. Mega kit is for non ac. I would of thought they would make up a kit. So part of the kit will be useless . Mopar B Body 70 Charger MEGA Resto Paint Gasket Set - Non AC

You would think that they would sell the kit as a base kit and allow for the a/c or non a/c box kit as an option. Even if there was a price change between the options.

Don't bitch about it. Jim is a very amicable guy. You have to figure the kits he makes are meant to cover a wide range of applications.
So what if you have some extra material left over. It's great stuff to apply to other things on your build.

Dave, other than that, do you think the kit covers everything else? The gaskets fit/work well?

Thanks
Ross

I have had very good experiences with Jim since about the time they opened. Met Jim,family/staff at Mopar’s in The Park in 2016. I have always received very good products and service. Until they quit shipping to Canada a few years ago.
Now I purchase DMT stuff from NationalMoparts in Beaverton Ontario.
I got the non A/C Mega kit about 6 years ago. Had everything and some extra stuff. Some of the gaskets that weren’t needed were recut and used else where.

Well Jim replied and said thats for non ac car so forget it. OK so what does that mean? I need a kit. I also notice that the firewall insulation will be wrong so I either have to cut the non ac piece or order those pieces to. My charger must be rare because it the only Mopar AC car out there. But really how hard is it to make an AC kit or give a price break on the other 2 kits you will need to buy. Why arent the vent window rubbers included? I know he needs to make a buck but,..... guess Im being a drama queen.

I've ordered a few things from DMT, never an issue, always happy.

I believe this hobby is on the back side of the bell curve. I'm happy for whatever they make.

I should of been happy with just my Bee,you cant drive 2 cars at the same time. This hobby is pushing the blue collar man out of it.
