My Mom has a black and white polaroid picture of my 4 brothers and one sister and myself all dressed up in our winter cloths, boots and all, sitting around the open oven door, with the oven on, with bowls of corn meal mush or oatmeal sitting on the door, eating breakfast in the dead of a Northern PA winter without heating oil for the furnace. Yeah, we were privileged all right....lol. had a great childhood!
