Where did you and your car go today

Did the OK Hot Rod Hundred car run this past Saturday. There were about 130 1974-older car/trucks and about 20 post-1974 vehicle that made the drive. There were a handful of Mopars there. I drove my '66 Coronet 500, and there was also a '69 RR, '66 Sport Fury, '72 Charger, '66 Monaco, '49 Plymouth, a custom '58 DeSoto, '50 Dodge 1/2-ton on a modified Dakota chassis and a 392 Gen3 Hemi, '41 Dodge ratrod truck, two Vipers, and a couple of others The run itself was 120 miles, taking the lonnnng way from Arcadia to Guthrie, OK. I put 208 miles total on my Coronet, and got a trip average of just under 13 mpg. At the end of the run, we ate very well! For several years in a row, there was a BBQ food truck to provide the goodies. Brisket, pulled pork, slaw, beans, and potato salad, with soft drinks/water and chocolate cake!
I do the one in Missouri. We meet a few miles from my house and run through Missouri wine country!! We get a shirt and lunch, it's fun!!

Shoehorned the Renegade, the Dakota and my wife's huyndai under the carport.
They are all technically "under" it.
Could get a direct hit from Ian and could be a cat 2 when it hits us.
Better than not having it.
Satellite is at the shop.
Shop has stood since 1977.
No idea how many hurricanes since then.
At least 5 big ones since I've been here in 1988.

Member Rat Rod Al may have taken a direct hit at landfall.
Cat 4 but only 2 MPH below a cat 5.
Hope he's OK.

We got dealt 2 lucky breaks.
Ian made a East jog a little before 11 pm and was going to pass about 25 miles away.
We fell asleep about 1:30 after being up since 2 am.
Sometime during the night, it made another Easterly movement and ended up passing about 50 miles away.
We still got at least 75 MPH winds and we have some large limbs down.
One is almost 6 inches across and 15 feel long.
Flooding is no worse than last night, with about 4-6 inches in the back yard low areas and garage.
Sporadic power outages last night but is on this morning.
The counties in our area are reporting 50-75% of people without power.
Pics and vid from the landfall area are almost ridiculous.
Construction office trailers and parts of docks floating down the streets.

Went for a cruise today, 110 miles of just going nowhere. This car will sit on 80 and just go, 1900 rpm's. 75 degrees and an absolutely beautiful day.

Glad it missed you, hopefully your fortune continues, stay safe!

Family cruise day, of about 80/85 miles. One driver down sick so we took 4 cars. Stopped at the Riverhouse in Severn Falls so the gals could have a beer and then carried on home just before dark.

Stripped out the interior on Wednesday and drove the Charger out to my body man (125 mile round trip) on Thursday to weld in the brackets. It’s amazing how loud the interior is with no rugs, rear seat & passenger seat.

Went to a friends house for a church thing, not too many pictures I had to take the Highway. Hopefully it wasn’t the last outing with it, on the way home right when I took the exit a couple miles from my house I started loosing oil pressure. About a half mile from the house I lost all pressure. I’ll have to investigate tomorrow, but it was fun listening to Gordon Lightfoot, and I know my northern neighbors are packing up for the winter, but here in Texas we’re getting the best cruising weather!
