It's quite easy to spot the German V-2 rocket design in that photo. General Electric had access to 300 rail-cars of V-2 rocket parts -enough to built 100 rockets - from the inventory confiscated by American forces from the Mittelwerk V-2 factory after the end of the war.

SFO Airlines ran a helicopter shuttle service to Bay Area Airports back in the 1960's. For example, when Dad flew to Reno every summer he took the copter from San Jose to San Francisco International Airport. Then it was United Airlines from S.F. to Reno. Sikorsky S-61:

Glorious memories, used to pop out the names right now. The oldest (at 48) can still do it quickly. The grandkids are getting better with our help! Course the video games help! My oldest doing de-icer boots,etc. trying to keep current!
 
and by the time the P-75 would have been avalible, the Mustangs Thunderbolts and Lightnings were avalible in numbers.
