Real J code HEMI road runner hard top (RM23J9A). Original R6 w/premium black bench & column auto, rocker and belt moldings, light package, AM/8 track, rear defog, hood stripes, manual steering and brakes. Coastal car. All the metal it needs is now available from AMD (except a trunk lid). Major project, (think Donny's GTX) but it is what it is, a real Hemi car.

$15.5K O.B.R.O. Might take other Mopar in PART trade, especially a 65 Coronet hard top w/4 speed. This is a way to get in to one without a 2nd mortgage. No motor or trans

Near D/FW Metroplex

Wow Runner! How come the Hemi bird is 4 sale? U should keep her and put her back on her feet! Hope U get what u want out of her! I think the only 3 words that matter here are Hemi road runner, the J code vin says the rest! Not that I could afford it but what rear end? Also in the immortal words of my friend who has a 69 Hemi runner "If you're gonna go broke, let it be a Hemi car." Good luck!!

Without getting in to it, I got a phone call on Friday that put me between a rock and a hard place, and I need some cash. Hate the thought of not having the car (had it about 6 years at this point) but facts are facts.

I've edited out most of this thread cause it just wasn't relative. And since people don't seem to understand the condition from my description I'm going to post one pic of the rear of the car.

imagine that. I post a pic and it goes quiet.

Quiet?, I just haven't been on all day. LOL. You know we are a very visual crowd, thanks for posting that pic. Good luck with the sale of your Runner, I hope it goes into the right hands and gets the resto it deserves.

diddo.

1 word "Hemi" no matter what, she's worth every penny of the price. Hope someone that appreciates it gets it.

You'd think. but it's like the cam and stuff I have listed. All new in the box, and at a more than reasonable price. But no one wants it unless they can get it for half price

Unfortunately times are tough. I know if I had the cash I would consider it but I just cant come up with the bread to buy it. I think it would be a really hot car done. I wish you the best of luck in its sale.

That's not that bad.

Mine was pretty bad too. Dang a J car, that is worth bring back from the dead.

Maybe when mine is done.

Randy

That's what I've been saying all along. But I think people are forgetting it's a Hemi car and want to buy it like a 383 car.

Ok, so for $15.5 we'd be getting the car less engine and trans (of course), and it needs a ton of steel. Got the build sheet in there somewhere? With an investment like that it would be nice to bring it all the way back. Worst case, a crate hemi would be a mecum-level restore.
