Hopefully the wingcar forum will pick up here,.....the DC.com site was getting real stale........same topics year after year., nothing really "moving" over there?..........so If I can help you guys out with any technical advice, or photos feel free to ask.....looks like we'll be a little more relaxed over here?

any info on doing the 71 superbird clones

I saw them in mopar muscle i think,but im thinking of doing my own,and NOT spending 10k just to put a nose piece and rear wing on it.
 
Ok the wing cars use Coronet fenders right? So has anyone made a Supernet or Winged Bee? Put a nose and wing on a Coronet body?

I remember seeing a Superbird convertible clone at the New York Auto show about 25 years ago. It was Vitamin C with a white gut and I thought it was the coolest thing. Aside from the purchase of the base car, anyone want to venture a guess as to what the conversion would cost ? No labor, just parts.
 
Parts only...Nose assembly, fender scoops, wing, hood extension, coronet fenders and hood...8 to 15k, maybe more, depending on the quality of the parts. There are all types of repro parts ranging from cheapo fiberglass components, to high end fiberglass components, to steel and aluminum components.
 
Hey Mike........ I'd like to know what parts you might make for Daytona conversions.........

I told Stuart that I have a pretty nice 68 Charger in my garage in new and rebuilt steel....a perfect candidate for a conversion.......big block non-R/T.......I do all my own work from fabrication to finishing too, and want the best bang for my investment........I'd be a big hit with the wife too if we did a Dayclona...

Let me know what you might have available..used parts too..anything that might help..AND, we need a 70 front clip to start. :grin:
