I disagree. There's an entitlement sense that's grown with about the last two or so generations. They don't want to do anything but sit there and play video games while somebody else foots the bill. They don't even give a damn about any kinda transportation. I've never seen anything like it.

I don't ACCEPT any of them, because I'm old enough to remember how PISSED OFF my parents and every WWII generation person I knew was about the Japanese attacking Pearl Harbor. Sometimes it was all daddy could talk about. It's like nobody stands for anything anymore.

First off, this is a hilarious "cane shaking" rant. Secondly, what the hell are kids supposed to drive these days? I'm pretty sure that most of them can't afford to get into a new Challenger or even understand the cool factor of a heavy-*** rear wheel drive with a V8. Tuner cars with big gaudy wings and fart cans are about as dorky as it gets but I guess they're at least building something. As far as a generation of "gamers" goes, I predict a future of socially inept losers with really sharp thumbs from texting too much.

In my opinion when child services came in and said it was bad to spank your child,(granted a baseball bat is a bit much) the kids started thinking they had the world by the tail.Then they in turned refused to spank their brats and let somebody raise/discipline them. I've seen women in stores just let their kids run rampant and not do a damn thing to stop them. the parent just says in a low calm voice "now johnny/mary, that's not how we should act in a store" what does the kid do but ignore the parent and go right back to doing the same thing. It's not the first time i've put my hand across the backside of a kid misbehaving and it certainly won't be the last. Do/did i beat my kids NO did i give them a stern "swat" on the ***,YES. I've told my kids don't ever let me see you bullying somebody else they would not like the outcome but if they saw someone else being picked on and step in to defend the kid i would back them up 100%. I was raised like i'm sure others here were that if you created a situation then you deal with the consequences.

These posts paint a bright picture. It's worse than that. We have seen the best of it. And they won't pay their bills. Ever. Nothing is their fault. Kids son't have parents today, they have zombies on phones walking and pushing the stroller out into traffic and not knowing it.

Skylines are nice, but a stock one isn't going to be pushing 700hp, more like close to 500hp (480 I think) ;) Also the R34's and earlier could only produce 276hp stock, the max allowed for japanese street cars at the time.

Worse than that is when you go to a good live show and everyone on the audience is either filming the band from their phone or letting everyone know on face book how much fun their having. Just enjoy the ******* show!!!

I would tend to agree, especially about the taste in cars, although this current batch of Face-book My-space Twitter Era Obese children are going to be a really big problem "yet to come"... IMHO it's all about the subsidized youth from the Tuned Out, Cult followers, POS Protesters, druggies/dopers, society drop outs, free love & late 60's to early 70's Hippies generation {not everyone just that generation/crowd & just the ones described} that is messing everything up now, not the current batch "yet", by the year 2020 will show how messed up they really are, it's like numbskull's from the 60's-70's era youth, that could have had the best muscle cars, but most didn't, they chose to have POS Vans, Busses, VW's or Japanese/Foreign cars & products or the likes instead, it's the older entitlement "give me" generation who have some of the most messed up children/grandchildren now, teaching them the same type "give me" mentality, and really bad taste in cars, they were the "anti establishment" movement, now they are running &/or ruining the country, out sourcing, buying the cheapest cars & other **** they can, instead of buying American Products & their living off the hard work of many others... We have a much larger current young batch of Takers/Consumers & not Makers/Producers any more... It all started with their Parents/Grandparents mentality... my $0.02 cents

IMHO we are in another great American Muscle Car Era now, look at all the performance & economy you can get out of some of the new batch of American Muscle Cars today & even some of the new foreign Muscle Car type of products too...

What's the logic here? Relativism is a tad annoying to this generation. Most of us, grew up working on cars as a Job or hobby, And many have fallen in love with cars later in life..... Generation to generation the auto has changed.But to pursue this passion of cars you need the funds to support it......
