Buds... I dont live in the past as much as you do... but yes I do remember being 1-15 and the only reason we didnt wear bags is because New Orleans cornered that market. NE sports fans have had plenty of heartbreak/ache over the years... But you dont see me dwell on Jack Tatum or the phantom call or express my disdain for the notorious cheating cheap shot dirty playing Raiders of the past. You on the other hand cant let a playoff game go from how long ago?? That was a legal play and to this day is still a legal play and correct call by the refs. You had a chance with the same team the very following year but yet that one game still sticks in your throat...... You need to let the past go. Especialy when its a result from a game you dont control dont play in and have really nothing to do with it other than being a fan...... Ask me how I know this...
WEll I'll tell you .. because I have seen it all in professional sports and letting it ruin your life or day is just plain dumb. Red Sox storied history of collapsing, Celtics and Tim Duncan, Reggie Lewis Len Bias, Patriots until BB, The SB vs the Pack Parcells threw, Bruins vs Oilers, Cam Neely.... The list goes on....
Trust me when I say this ... let it go.. you will be happier .. Its better than regurgitating in your mouth everytime someone says PATRIOTS !!
