the west is in a drought somewhat from Alaska to San Diego, some spots worse than others, Alaska goes thru this stuff about every 5 or so years, allot of seismic or volcanic activity, something like 40-50 Earthquakes a year average, sometimes a volcano activity shaking the snow & glaciers too, when I lived up there in the Palmer Alaska ranges, it was pretty common occurrences & here in Calif. about 80% of the time, that we are an arid dry state here, allot of mudslides "usually" when we get allot of rain, after a dry spell or fire...

Nothing new, right Budnicks? Try telling these "Chicken Littles" this! "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!" I think that is why our teachers read these kind of stories to us when we were children. "The little boy that cried wolf is another I remember. What kind of "lifes lessons" do they teach today???

No doubt it was caused by global warming, er, I mean, climate change

I guess, Wile did it though, those vitamins for his leg muscles started it all i hear, A few segments of his incredible desire to heat things up Richard, don't forget the popcorn now lol...

Brave little one! Little soul food and off to bed like a champ eh. Good kid.

Thanks for the Vid! Gotta love the quotes. "Boys got more nerve than a bum tooth!"

We've had a little snow around here lately but now just rain. Mt. Baker is about 60 miles from our place and so far this winter they've had 412" of snow. That's about 35 feet measured every day. They say it's the snowiest place on the planet. About 100 miles southeast of here is Snoqualmie Pass on I-90. It was completely closed for about 20 hours yesterday so they could clear slides from the road and do avalanche control. It's open off and on now. Glad I don't have to head east.:snow plow:

Oh yeah it just gets better. I saw the long range forecast for March and it is colder than normal here in the Midwest. Maybe we will see the grass by June.

Thinking I'm going to have snow piles in the yard yet in june.

I'm starting to wonder if I'll even get my car out of winter storage this year. Sheesh

I've brought it home as early as March before, but it could be May this year. I always wait until we've had some good rains to wash the salt away. Ha - we'll probably still be laying salt down into April this year.

Glad to hear the little one is doing well, Ron.

Everytime you listen to the weather, it's either flurries or 2-4 inches, or one day it's low 20's the next day it's -10. I like winter as much as the next person, but even i'm starting to get annoyed with all this flip-flop.
On the bright side, I got to dig out a tree stump, so hopefully when all this snow starts melting it will soak the ground and make it easier for me to get it out.

I hear ya.... My old man is a 60 year old beat up diesel mechanic. He's spent most of this winter on his back, in the snow & ice, thawing out gelled up rigs in -30, to -50 below wind chills, at night on the side of the road. I'm getting real ready to go bust his 26 year old chubby boss right in the chops. Plenty of young pups to go do it, but he knows my old man won't say no, because of his pride. The little snake takes advantage of that.

Good luck with that stump Roger!
