Mike - way to go eh ! That bird looks and sounds fantastic.
Thanks for the info you sent me recently about the engine noise. By the end of the summer I should have mine installed and running. Last weekend I pulled out the A/C unit and the "spliced to ****" harness so the car interior is ready to be prepped, painted and new wiring. Still a lot to do....
Regards, Patrick
big props to your car and hockey team! go storm! I actually got to see them play back in november!
Sweet ride man, real clean too!
I have to ask, its so sweet looking more pictures and video would be sooo cool man, SHOW off that beauty! I figure it never hurts to ask and if that was mine i would have a stack of pictures and ill wager you have some more that us Mopar crazy's would relish to see![]()
I had the ambers on a few muscle cars in the 70's and 80's then kinda grew out of them, but I have been kicking around the idea of putting them back on my GTX again (but probably won't). They do look kinda cool but somehow take away from a beautiful car like yours, just my opinion.
That video is great goony car turned out great just doing some catching up on finished thread been busy working on mine. Its coming along good.i just love the sound off the mopar muscic
Buddy, i cant say i like them on a model you have and although i do like them on some cars, its not to say yours wouldn't, shouldn't look cool, its your ride my friend and if you aint happy, it will not work! Go with what you want... THAT is my HO..

That is one sweet sounding 522. I had the vid running in my Woodshop and my Catahoula jumped up and ran for the road!
I kinda like the amber headlight accent, a subtle nod to the past. I really am thinking of trying it myself.
PLEASE don't go by the way i think!, If you like it, enjoy it, you can always change it later just don't let anyone make that decision for you...
;) I know man, i just get ancy when "some" think this is how we should do things, how they think they were, are and then i get ticked some lol, i did understood what you were saying at the start, cant stand those who have there own version of what we should have and then what to do with them, if you haven't encountered such, smile, if you have you already understand what i mean lol...![]()

I'm to young to ever remember any amber light fad so my opinion on the headlights is out of pure functionality, to me painting or shading lights serves no purpose and if anything lessons the output so I say go back. On the looks side of it I don't think it looks bad but also don't think it adds to it either especially "FER RACIN". Now if you really wanted it to be "FER RACIN" you could get a duel snorkel air filter and turn them into fresh air ducts haha, just kidding you need your lights. I'm with Ron on the pics "keep them coming cause that's a sweet bird you got there". Does that color change that much in the light, that pic outside the Gym is a real eye burner?
looking good man
Hey GOON . . . paint them clear again and see how you like it . . . if you like it yellow, then you can always paint them yellow again ! ! ! ( SMILE )
