Maho Beach

I saw this place on the Science channel last night. Mayo Beach, St. Marrten Island, in the Caribbean.

Now these people must be hard up for a beach to go to. The airport has a very short runway, especially for the size of the planes that use it. The larger planes have to rev up their engines, then release the plane to make the lift off.

I lived there for 6 months, it is hilarious to watch people try to hang on to the fence during take offs. .....especially fun when 747's land and take off.
