did anyone else see Eric Enders-Stevens won't be going to 2 of the races Sonoma or Seattle on the west coast swing ??

she's the points leader by a ton,
maybe she want's to just rest on her laurels/points lead already,
then she wonders why she can't keep sponsors or reason she's always looking...

Yeah, I heard them mention it on the qualifying show last night. I understood them to say it had not yet been confirmed and there would be a statement from the team today. She's already assured of a spot in the Countdown and has a 12+ round point lead over Allen Johnson before the start of eliminations at Bandimere today. But, if it was me, I would only take the next two races off if I had the full and complete blessings of all of my sponsors - major and minor both.

Congrats to Duster79 (FABO) for winning the Top Qualifier title at the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Raceway with a very nice total of 29.5 bonus points! Duster79 picked the #1 qualifier in Top Fuel and Pro Stock, the #2 qualifier in Pro Stock Motorcycle and the #5 qualifier in Funny Car.
StarGazer (FABO) is right behind with 29.0 bonus points each.
GPuller is the top FBBO player with 28.5 bonus points for the Mopar Mile-High qualifying.
Way to go all!

This week players picked:
* 7 different Top Fuel drivers. Their is a Round 1 head-to-head matchup between Antron Brown and Doug Kalitta that will have a huge impact on our game since it involves a total of twenty of our game players. There is also a possibility of 2 head-to-head matchups is in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 9 different Funny Car drivers with two Round 1 head-to-head matchups. One between Matt Hagen (2 picks) and Alexis DeJoria (3 picks), and one between Courtney Force (2 picks) and Del Worsham (1 pick). There is also a potential of 3 head-to-head matchups in Round 2 of eliminations.
* 5 different Pro Stock drivers but no Round 1 head-to-head matchups. There is a possibility of 1 head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations.
* 4 different Pro Stock Motorcycle riders and, again, no head-to-head matchups in Round 1 of eliminations, but the possibility of 1 head-to-head matchup in Round 2.

Hey all, 'Duster79' (FABO) is one of our players with "locked-in" picks. I received a PM from him today letting me know I missed the post where he revised his "locked-in" picks back on May 29. I checked the game thread and he is absolutely correct.
I went back and updated all of the scoring since he revised his picks.
The scoring shown below is correct and reflects his revised picks. The only thing you're not going to see this week is the +/- movement from last week due to having to revise his points for the past few weeks. I will include the +/- movement notes starting with the Sonoma Nationals next week.
Sorry for any confusion.

Congratulations to 'johnnycuda' (FABO) for being "Top Picker Eliminator" for the Mopar Mile-High Nationals with an outstanding point total of 182.0! He picked the class winners in Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle and his Top Fuel and Funny Car picks made it to the final round of elimination before losing. He also picked up ET and Speed bonus points in both Funny Car and Pro Stock.
'Gpuller' (FBBO) came in as the event runner-up with a really nice point total of 163.5 with class wins in both Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. His Funny Car picks made it to the final round of eliminations before losing, and his Top Fuel pick went one round of eliminations.
Great picking all!

The Mopar Mile-High Nationals was the first of three consecutive weekends of racing during the grueling 'Western Swing' when all of the crews are far from their raceshops and when spare parts have a tendency to sometimes get a bit scarce. The next event is the 27th annual NHRA Sonoma Nationals, July 25-27, at Sonoma Raceway, just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean in Sonoma, CA. The racing this weekend was at Bandimere Speedway up on the mountain at an altitude of 5860 feet above sea level; next weekend the racing will be at 15 feet above sea level. That's gotta drive the crew chiefs nuts!
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, July 25 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 7:45PM EDT (4:45 PM PDT).
The Sonoma Nationals entry list is posted on NHRA.com and currently shows 16 Top Fuel, 18 Funny Car, 15 Pro Stock (Erica Enders-Stevens team announced today they are not racing at the final two events of the 'Western Swing') and 18 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries, but the counts are subject to change. Keep checking http://www.nhra.com/events/entrylist15.aspx for an updated entry list.

Only four more events until the points get adjusted after the U.S. Nationals!

Get your picks posted and GOOD LUCK!

I tried sending a PM to 64BEL to remind him that it's less than 24 hours to the start of qualifying for the NHRA Sonoma Nationals and he hasn't yet posted his event driver picks. Unfortunately his PM box is full.
Can somebody forward the message via email or landline?
Thanks!
