high on drugs or realistic value ??

True sight unseen is not a fair assessment, however from CL experience looking at what might not be too bad on cl always turns out to be worse! lol 10K for something you might as well start from scratch with is too much, I bought my car for 10k and it was drivable. they are out there just have to keep looking.

15k for the above 69 charger with a rebuild is a good price and it will go quick. wife just slapped the back of my head for even considering taking it lol. with the old "gotta finish what you have first" routine.

x2. why pay 10k for a major basket case when for a few dollars more you can get a complete runner.

because often times, the "complete runner" becomes a major basket case once you tear into it......... much like the pic i posted

I don't know, I got $6,000 for my 68 Charger shell non number matching, hell the dash vin didn't even match the fender tag. The car had more holes then swiss cheese, originally a 318 and the guy drove 1,000 or so to get it.

#'s matching 383 HP. Seats, carpet, headliner, vinyl top need recovered. 38,000 original miles. Haven't looked for the build sheet yet. It's surely there! Been so busy, i've never even had time to sit in it!

Heres a good one. This fuel filter is a tad over priced me thinks

hard to believe. I passed on a 69 Hemi Charger for 6500.00 in 1987. I had just sold my 68 Charger R/T for 1500.
I thought, no way that car was worth almost five times my car? DUMB DUMB
MAN MONACO66 YOU SOUND JUST LIKE MY DAD !!! WHO PASSED ON A HEMI SUPERBIRD IN 79' FOR 2800.00 BUCKS !! :sFun_doh2:

thats because in 68 the fender tag has the Von stamped on it, not the vin.

68 is the year for chargers. Thank Steve McQueen.
