I was expecting my Glen-ray heater core today. The wife goes to the corner store at lunch time and the UPS man pulls into the parking lot and says "I've got a package for you I think". The wife says "Ok". The UPS man says, "Looks like more parts for the car!" The wife says "Probably.... It will be done someday".... did not have the heart to tell her it never ends....

LMAO . . . isn't that the truth . . . it does never end . . .

That's why we're part of this madness ! ! !

when parts come in the mail
i always think about the old TV show called mash
the episode when Klinger was sending a jeep home thru the mail ,one part at a time.. LOL

My UPS and FedEx guys always like delivering to the house. The 2 normal guys that deliver to our home, have had a nickel-tour.

Ha Ha... Serious Dave did you want to be present when I try to fire up the 318 and have a beer?

My fedex guy knows me extremely well he knows I got a bad back so when he gets something heavy he opens my truck door opens garage door puts it in the garage for me then closes it up . I told him this once two years ago . Also if it needs signed he'll do it for me . And he always pokes around to see what's new . He saw some hummer seats in the garage and asked what they were for before I could say he was out the side door checking the deuce out . Nice guy he brought his kid by once to see the deuce

I have been sending stuff to other places for years cause I just don't want to here it anymore. Oh and I pay the bills.

The UPS guy knew me too but he got a different route a few years ago and we've had several different drivers since. He would deliver to the back door when we weren't home instead of leaving it on the front porch.

If you are having a engine start up ceremony I'll attend.

That is the plan! Plan next Saturday or Sunday. Will know more by the end of the weekend. The rain may stall progress
