Yes it looks like the accessories mount like the car 5.7's, though this came out of a jeep. I was just curious why the flex plate says is won't work for a Jeep Cherokee?

After looking on the ATI website, I think they(Summit) must have just copied the notes from the wrong part number: 915663 is for Jeep 3.7L/6.1L not 5.7.
Though I seen the note for 915685 not working on a 5.7 on another site to, so just wanted to double check I wasn't missing something.

Very badass car you got there. I got a sport satellite. Gonna do a simple swap. Well. If you look thru the thread I went a little crazy. This Oct is goes in for complete protouring mode. Good luck with your build. There is like 6 or 8 of us that have done this an are very knowledgeable. Any questions fire away. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?36844-my-70-barn-find.

Ordered a Radiator, Flex plate, and oil Pan today. Also tried to do a little work cleaning up the Hemi. The jeep it was out of was in a front end crash leaving a lovely white corrosion from the antifreeze on everything....especially the aluminum. Put the dremel to work....

Got the fuel pressure regulator in and started plumbing the tank for lines...

Been a while since I've given an update, not too much on the Hemi Swap side of things but been working on gathering parts and other issues.

Some new goodies...

Much needed shock replacements all the way around.

Some maybe have seen in the wanted section I was looking for a 70 B Body K-Member, the one in the car was earlier and didn't really give me options for a front sway bar. Found a K-Member and got that put in. In the process now of replacing all the front end bushings and ball joints.22.jpg23.jpg

Secured a small block 727 in need of some serious cleaning and probably a rebuild.

The car had a mismatch of tires on it, the rears got upgraded, the fronts will get something similar once all the suspension work is complete.

I got this HUGE smile on my face when I came to your thread just now. I was fine tuning my transmission shift points today so I got some serious seat time, You are SOOOOO going to love your car when you get it done!!!

Nice project, extremely cool car! What tranny did you have? I'm looking for the bellhousing from a Jeep NAG1 since the starter is supposed to be on the driver side on those (I have a NAG1 from a Charger with the starter on the passenger side).

I have the NAG1 from an 07 Charger. The starter is on the passenger side. I did not bother with headers since the few tenths they may have made in a 1/4 mile don't matter to me. I came straight off the stock exhaust manifolds and straight back to the x.

Darius is showing off.......again! LOL!!!!

I have the stock manifolds also, but I was told they dont fit an e-body, (have a Challenger) have not tried fitting the engine/tranny in the car yet, so I cant say for sure.

Didn't get much done during the summer but thought I would give an update of where I'm at now.
This spring I finished the front suspension, boxed in the lower control arms, all new bushings, sway bar, strut rods, ball joints, tie rods.

This summer I collected parts for the next phase...which I'm starting now.

I still have a few more parts I want to get to build up the 727(Bolt in Sprag and Steel 5 pinion planetary gear.) Then I'll try my hand at rebuilding it.
Have a few odds and ends to purchase, but I'm slowly making progress.

Very nice indeed. Where did you buy your harness and computer? And did you make your plates or buy them for the lower control arms? I am considering boxing mine and getting tubular upper control arms. For not getting much done you got a lot done lol. To me collecting the parts is half the battle.

Hey I will be in Lincoln next week. If you wouldn't mind I would like to check out your ride and meet up. And how bout them huskers! 5/0 heck of a game today.

Hi I am going to be putting a 5.7 in my 69 roadrunner what exhaust manifolds did you use? I really don't want to use long tube headers.

07 charger manifolds?

This was post #18 in this very thread!
You are going to love that engine in the GTX. Don't know about how it is with a 3 speed but the NAG1 in mine is awesome. I'm getting hi teens-low20 mpg with my set up. Mine was NO numbers matched anything when I started plus it was a piece of swiss cheese so I did what I wanted. Here is a link to my build if you are interested
