Steve, I think we have time to try and get the 25 Members needed, to add the Club affiliation to their entry. I have also posted on FEBO an invitation to join us, and I guess I will put one up on FABO also. I think we will make the quota, and hope this ends up as an Annual Event happening. Thanks for offering, and try your best to make it, if possible.

I just got another Mopar guy to sine up, he has a 74 Dart; he and his son are from Phili.

Cool! Keep the signups coming! I am looking forward to meeting as many FBBO members as possible!

Once we get closer, I think we should set up some designated "meet up" times. I will plan to be at my car in the show field, as well as walking around looking for stuff, so I will not be at the tent all the time.

Maybe we can set up a lunch (noon) meet up time and then a dinner meet time and interested people can go to dinner together. Just brainstorming...............

Just keeping a bit of Focus on the Tent in July. It looks like we're at 19 on the Poll, and maybe some haven't logged in on it. I've made a few calls to Friends to have them check FBBO on their Entry Forms, so hopefully WE will get to 25 sooner than later, and know we'll have the tent for the Next 2 Years ! Keep talking it up to whoever may be going in July. It's coming around to that time of year, when we ALL get busy, and this won't be thought about much 'til July is upon us. Thanks for any Help to "Keep It Rolling"...

No updates for this week, keep spreading word to add FBBO to Carlisle Reg form, Thanks...

Just three months away and the days will be flying by quickly with summer quickly approaching. As Dan has stated, keep spreading the word through your local cruise nights, club newsletters and such. Everything that is put into making the event memorable now will only make it more special upon getting there.

It seems like I am hearing of more people than ever who will be attending the event for the first time. I know from speaking to people who have made the trip for the first time in the past couple of years, that the event is far bigger than most expect. So whatever efforts that can be achieved between now and then will only make the event more memorable.

Hey VANDAN, I see you say "and know we'll have the tent for the Next 2 Years". I know we need 25 registered cars in club FBBO for the current year to get a tent for that current year. Then for the next year after that one we need 25 to register for a tent that year. If only 24 cars register in club FBBO, no tent that year. I'm confused, help me please.

I talked to 65NUTCASE (Pat) from Altoona, Pa.
Reach out to him..........He has made up a FBBO T shirt.
He will bring it to the tent to see if there is interest for more.
I have his phone # if you don't get feedback from him from the site.

I believe once you hit the 25 members, the tent is provided, No Cost, by Carlisle Events. If I read their Tent Rules Application correctly, it qualifies the Club for a tent the following year, as they expect the Club to follow up with similar numbers the years after. Once we get the 25 on board, I think we will have a tent for this, and next year also. Hoping I had to just front the initial payment this year, and FBBO should be set for years to come if this works out...

Steve, Feel free to pursue this, as it would be a great addition to the FBBO Carlisle Mopar experience. I'm just trying to get the tent in place, so others can jump in, and "Team Work" the rest. Carlisle is my own Big Vacation of the year, so I try to cover the whole grounds while I'm there, and take care of my parts needs, pick-ups, and deliveries, along with seeing as many showfield entries as possible. Possibly we can have a sign in sheet at the tent, where Members can leave a note as to where they are located, both venders and cars, so we can swing by their locations, and meet them if not at the tent itself. I'm usually on the move all day Friday and Saturday, trying to cover it all...

As I read item #2 cost on the club tent information sheet and read club tent order form. I read it as each year a club organizer must send in a club tent order form by the deadline with pre payment of $180.00. Then if club gets 25 registered vehicle for the current year, the tent is free and moneys are sent back to the club organizer listed on the club tent order form in approximately 4-6 weeks. If the club does not get 25 vehicles, Carlisle keeps the money. (They can not refund any money back if they did not receive it in the first place.) The club organizer should know before the opening day of the event if he gets money back or need to have responsible club members donate money to him the club organizer to recoup his cost. I may be way out in left field on how I read the information or maybe not. VANDAN see what you think of my view.

Like if Carlisle provides a free tent this year to a club on their last year vehicle count of 25+ and this year Carlisle provides that free tent and the 25 vehicle count is not met, who would Carlisle bill for the tent? So I read it to say Pre payment each year for a tent by the club organizer.

When I have some time, I'll try to get back to and go over the rules. As of now, I think we'll get to the 25 members by The Show, so it should be covered, if only for this year. It's new to me to take this on, but I just wanted to get a jump on it, as this year will come and go, so it's a start. If it works out, then maybe it can become an Annual addition to the Show for FBBO, with some Member participation...

Just got two more..........they will sine up this evening, if not all ready.
Working on one more.

Tables, chairs, etc. are not included. To the best of my understanding, the only thing you get is the tent itself.
I'LL be able to provide the tables.
I'll take them there on Monday and have them set up for the whole week and pick them up the following Monday.
No need to rent them.
BYOC; Bring your own chair.................. or two.

Steve, Nice Job staying on this. With the additional attendees listing FBBO, we should be just about there with the count. Bringing the tables is also a Great Contribution to the effort, and just may kick-start some others to join in on this. I will touch base with Carlisle Staff after their Spring Show next week to see where WE stand, Thanks...

Thanks guys for all of the efforts in bringing this to actually happening. Through you guys efforts, the number should be getting very close to the required number and the final push can take place.

The event is always a very good show, but this year will be really huge. I know from responses that we are getting, it will be the biggest yet.

I will do my best to bring some folding chairs. I may only be able to drive there in my Road Runner, and in that case I will be limited from a space perspective. If I bring my Yukon XL I should be able to bring more.
