Who loves ya 69 4 door Coronet? Yeah, that's right....I do!!!

Initial start up and cam break in period for the rebuilt 318 in my 69 Coronet 4 door 11012019

I have been waiting for this day a long time!!!

Bart did you put modify the distributor so you could run more like 15 degrees of initial timing with a total of 35'ish all in? They run WAY better if you do that.

Another Dave 318 running the roads of Arizona! Looks great Bart!
Thanks Jim! Having some trouble with the kick down not functioning. The shop owner is going to call the shop that rebuilt the trans and see if they can figure it out. Other than that, I just need to get the hood on, and I can go drive this thing!!!

If you have details on that, pass them along and I will get it to the mechanic. I am all for having the car run as best it can!!!

Ok, this is probably me next to last post on this build thread. The car is done, and the last post will be of some action shots of the car on the road. Enjoy this!

1969 Dodge Coronet 4 door restoration is finally complete and the car is home with me 11142019

Looks fantastic - nice job and I'm sure it will be a pleasure to drive around and quite a head turner too!

Thanks hsorman!!! Yes, I am looking forward to driving it, but basically since it was completed on 11/14/2019, we have been having a lot of rain here in AZ, so she has stayed in the garage. This coming weekend looks good though, so I plan on putting some more break-in miles on her!!!

Perfect is over rated. Then you wouldn't want to drive it. Great job and enjoy it.

Yes, I know some people with cars like that and they never get driven. I just put another 70 miles on the Coronet yesterday, so she is out in the world to be seen and appreciated!!!
