How often is the NE corner of Texas as humid as the southern coast line?? Hell, I have 80% as I type and the temp is 77.....but that's not going to last for very long. Been out in the shop for way too many late evenings with 80 degrees and 85% way too many times during the summer for you to tell me that NE Texas gets the same stuff for weeks upon weeks at a time like it does where I am. Sometimes I feel like I'm in hell! And I have no idea where you are since your 'location' says 'The Real World' but I'm thinking you might be in la la land..... :D
You have a greater percentage of humid days and can keep them. We even see days of 99% and no rain. I am not about to move to the gulf to live in more of that stuff. There is plenty of Texas less humid. I have been told south Florida is the worst.

Excellent...yet another thread ruined by the minority.

I know that there lots of places that experience high humidity other than here but imo, you're right about having a higher percentage of humid days. Right now it's 87% and 75 but that's about to change and quickly. A buddy of mine that lives 85 miles NW of me just said the temps dropped from 73 to 50 in 30 minutes and the overnight lows are supposed to be in the high 30's.
