So, during a commercial on Fox, I flipped the remote down to CNN where there was a panel interviewed by dimwit Pamela Brown. She asks, " So, what would happen if the other engine failed ? "

Sorry, I should have been a little more clear. When UNITED AIRLINES introduced the 777 into service.

United Airlines was the launch customer, they got their first 777 airframe in May, 1995.

Like I said, my wife worked for United Corporate and they had a "launch party" at Newark airport in 2015-2016, she doesn't remember the exact date. It included a tour for all the corporate people, and a fly around, of which she attended both. Sorry that you seem to know more than my wife, who was a corporate manager.

Glad I wasn't on that plane with my Wife sitting next to me. They would have had

That date is more likely to have been for the 787, not the 777.

May 1995 for 777 noted by Photon440 is correct. I worked at Boeing .
