I used to have a very wide and broad taste in beer, especially in my 20s when I was in the USAF and flew all over hell's half-acre going TDY. I developed a real affinity for Stella Artois, a Belgian pale beer, and a couple of German brands, as well. These days, I can handle the taste of Shiner Bock, and that is about it. Beer just doesn't taste good to me these days.

I love beer, it’s all that I drink that has alcohol anymore. I like that there are so many different brands out there now. I try to buy something different all the time. Stella Artois, Belgian or Blue Moon, and Czechvar are my go to imports. Big Rock in Alberta has some nice stuff.
The beers I don’t like are the ones that have other crap in them. Please, no chocolate, and definitely no pumpkin!
Who ever thought it was O.K. to put pumpkin in anything other then pies or cookies was just wrong.

Did you go to the Land O Lakes?
I was drawing attention to the fact that back in the day Wisconsin banned margarine sales to protect dairy farmers. I thought they still did but apparently they do now. Their butter and especially the cheese are the best tasting I've ever had.

....kinda slowed things down for a week or two tho

That's what Head Cheese is for.

I developed a real affinity for Stella Artois, a Belgian pale beer,
I recall being out with a French girl ~25 years ago. I ordered a Stella and a shocked/disappointed look came across her face. She asked me "What kind of beer do college kids in the United States drink?" I said that they drink whatever cheap crap is on sale or dirt cheap to begin with. She replied "Well, in Europe they drink Stella - and for the same reason." Well okay then. I still drink it occasionally...

My dad and brother went to college in Wisconsin and used to bootleg Coors there.
Funny – as a WI-nite, remember all the fad to get Coors beer when Smokey & The Bandit came out. Then what happens later? Coors and Miller get married!

I’m from New York, but I went to Wisconsin once, and I don’t even own a collection agency.
Aha – Wisconsin: Had to spend six-weeks in NYC for corporate training for my 1st job out of college. NYC folks can be a hoot. One of the NY hometown guys I was in the program with asked me where I was from. I said Wisconsin and he replies “Is that out there around California?” Another time working in our Phoenix branch for a few weeks, an office employee there asked me where I was from; I said Milwaukee – ya know, Wisconsin. He gazed upward for a sec trying to place it…then says “Milwaukee? Is that where that guy is from that ate people?” Yeeeahhh – Jeffrey Dahmer. Then in the ‘50’s we had a guy who robbed graveyards making lampshades and ottomans…from people’s skin…Ed Gein I think his name was. We get great press here. There are gorgeous parts of WI...ok, just watch out for some dude’s after the sunsets…lol.

Yeah there’s this skank too…lemme think here for a minute as we got some nice stuff…we got a statue of Da Fonz hey! We got good cheese that'll bind ya up, but then good beer that'll flush ya out...I can attest to this personally. Makes ya wanna visit huh?

Being a life long Packer fan, I always thought Wisconsin must be a good place. Hell, they are pretty much the Beer, Cheese, Ice Cream & Toilet paper capital of central USA! What else does one need, lol. I am fond of several beers from Rhinelander and others from out that way. However, I have NEVER had a bad beer. As long as it's cold I'll drink it! Even skunk beer is okay with me as well as some bottom of the keg stuff with sediment in it! I have been collecting beer cans for more than 50 years now. I have it on tap as well now for 31 years or so. That 15.5 gallon keg weighs about 165 lbs! I used to hoist that big ol' up on my shoulder years back & waltz into the house with it. (Now my son helps me) , but he also drinks his share! The micro brewery explosion has been wonderful! One of the most Delicious was an IPL form "Straub" out of PA. I have probably over 700 different cans now. Cheers to all you Wisconsin folks & all the rest of you as well!

Went to Devil’s Lake in Wisconsin to hike the boulders on the hill side and scuba dive in the lake, gorgeous area.
Got pulled over by the Coppers after cruising through some S-curves a little too aggressively in the old ‘75 Fury 4-door Ex-police car with my friend and our dates. He asked me what I was doing and I told him the car was utilizing the nice banked curved of the road that Wisconsin provided, also I signaled the lane changes.
The officer asked me to follow him to the rear of the car where I was to partake in a DUI test.
Darn it for him, I passed with flying colors.
Dare it for me because it was the last date with that chick.

I use Amish roll butter a lot. Troyer is the best. Sometimes the Amish sell directly from their kitchen.

No worries Mario, I like the Bears too as well as The Vikings. The whole black & blue conference. I think it takes someone special to play football at those cold temps. Hits hurt like hell; even after you thaw out!
Then you need therapy which is .........................
