I love the stuff, but, you can buy some crappy fruitcake out there. If it's made well it's delicious. I didn't buy any this year. Saw some deli bakery made loafs at the local grocery but didn't buy one. Should have. If there's any left next time i'm in there I will.

And that gives them all a bad name. As I said, it's not for some people. My mother was making this every Christmas since I was a puke kid and my Georgia born father loved it. I think raisins and orange peel ruin it.
