Haven't seen in person. But it's close to me. Built up 440/727 column shift. Steep geared 8 3/4 sure grip rear. Mini tubed with fuel cell.

The components I'm confident in looking. It's the Belvedere II part? I'm sure it was originally a 6 cyl hotrodded up. But if anyone has info to share about difference between Belvedere I and Belvedere II? Please feel free to share?

Belvedere I, not available in a 2 door hardtop, I believe. Is there still a fender tag on it?

I requested that. But not yet. Otherwise below zero here in Minnesota. So even digital communication seems slow. Lol.

This is a Belvedere 1 You have a Belvedere 2. The hardtop is the difference as Jerry stated. Your car has the Silver Special interior too. Kinda neat. Same thing my 67 had.. Well sort of had the interior was almost completely torn up. lol

So I's are hardtop posts? II appears to look more like a Satellite?
No the picture I posted of the maroon car is a 2 door post belvedere 1.
The white car was mine and its a 2 door hard top. There is no post on a hard top. The quarter glass and the door glass meet with a stainless strip seal.

Satellite, GTX and Belvedere are pretty much the same car. Just different pricing points. Belvedere was the low end. Satellite was the middle and GTX was the top of the line.

The post cars were more along the budget line of cars. But I think they only offered it as a Belvedere.

Just like this is a 2 door post Roadrunner. They also had the Roadrunner in a 2 door hard top same as the yellow GTX below but with less options than the GTX.

And this is a 2 door hard top GTX

Ok. So Belvedere were hard tops, Belvedere I were posts. Belvedere II were hardtops. Strange. But ok. I always thought IIs were more "Economy?" version? (Minus the S88 J code.)

Thank you. It looks familiar to '69. But a little different. I will post what is there. He is asking under $20k. So I'm anticipating L or M code. But this is what I needed. I'm sure he will sell on performance upgrades. But nice to know what it started as? Thanks again.

No problem.. Sometimes I get scatter brained and hope I have not confused you. But those codes will definitely help you.

I'm also anticipating a later model 440. Hopefully we'll see? If I make a purchase? Unfortunately you all will hear about it? Lol.

Vin number is located in the drove side door area next to the dash. Look at the rivets that are holding it on and make sure they look legit. They should have a flower look to them.
Like this. Some people will remove vin tags and slap them on from another car. Just be careful.

Will do. However this car is not in the price range of anything to hide? It's why I'm guessing lower model base.

If its a 440 the stamp pad is up front on the engine. It will tell you alot about the engine.

Lol Under 20k is high dollar to me. 66/67 cars are not as desirable as 68 to 70 cars.. So almost everyone you will see will be decently priced. Unless its a 67 426 GTX 4-speed. Thats a high dollar car.

How much under $20k? From the photos it doesn't look like a $18-$20k car to me. Maybe $13-$15k? Just my opnion.
