Just got signed up. Going to fly in, rent a car, time share set. Come in on Sunday the 30th, leave Friday the 4th. With the current fuel pricing to drive, couldn't beat the $170 round trip out of Santa Maria. Anyone else going? Maybe meet up face to face.

Will be there . B-Squad Hotrod . Our podcast and a few others are doing a " Roadkill " style ralley from Denver to Vegas for SEMA . Ha ha ha 4 $1500 cars and myself in my MegaCab following with one of my car hauler trailers ..... For just in case ...... If we drop a car , I hope it is only one . If not we will have to break out the old sawzall and make room for another on the trailer

I will be going for the first time with my buddy. We are flying in late on the 30th and leaving Thursday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Its quite informative and fun. At least to me. Prepare for MAJOR WALKING. Some time back one of the retired forum members and I met up there. His wife worked for Hella so he was able to get in. He had a pedometer on. One day of easy perusing the aisles/exhibits, we did almost 15 miles. For sure wear comfortable shoes/boots otherwise you'll feel it way more by the end of the day. I have a collapsible file/work box on wheels that I use to put my haul in plus drinks and snacks. Keeps you from having to wear platform shoes cause if you just carry the bags, your knuckles will be dragging the floor.

Still can’t get in unless you’re in the industry and can prove it, right?

I heard about the walking. My buddy owns an auto parts store, so he has an in. Like the first time I went to Carlisle, I am sure it will be a lot bigger than I imagined

You are correct. All a non industry person can see, without creds, are the vehicles on display out in front of the convention center.

I wasn’t sure if the new membership program they launched would allow for it or not, heard it did not. They would get a tremendous amount of membership if they would allow for it I think.
