LS Swapped 69 Charger

They are cool little engines but have their issues. Apex seals being number 1. On the other hand I do have a Running 403 olds engine and transmission sitting out in my shed. That could make its way into something.. lol
I know from experience they are LOUD uncorked!

I had a 1979 Rx7 with a street ported 12a that little car was mean as hell. 2 inch headers, straight piped out the back. Sounded like a pissed off bee. That car was super fun to spin around and smoke the tires... Ended up blowing out the rearend. 2 many second gear posi black marks.

And every roadster had them too.

Mike Finnegan did this to that old charger he has.
Hopefully Mike will come to his senses, and pull that Japanese crap out of that Charger and put a Mopar engine back in it! That engine belongs in the Rotsun!

He doesnt live too far from me actually. But have yet to see him or any of his vehicles around. I did think I saw the Ramp truck at a body shop a few years ago. He lives in Acworth Georgia... I pretty much know exactly where he lives but respect his privacy.

It’s contagious… look at this godless devil- he swapped an entire crown Vic under his General Lee lol

In all seriousness, I’m all for the LS swap. Cheap and fast !

Those General Lees are recreations based on a Ford chassis. That is entirely different.

They are built specifically for stunt driving. Otherwise they are just junk *** Fords that resemble a Mopar.

I am well aware of how that general lee was put together. Maybe everyone missed the “lol”
I was just poking fun at everyone who’s flipping out over this kid putting the engine he wanted in his car that he owns. If nothing else, it’s future fodder for someone to come on and post how they bought a charger and saved it from brand x blasphemy

To each his own. If that's what he wants so be it but he cannot expect die hard Mopar guys to like it. But like you said his car his choice. I'm sure he can take the negative comments with stride. Pretty sure he doesn't need a cheer leader.

There are thousands of lesser cars that really could use an LS swap or anything other than what they are powered by,a 69 Dodge Charger isn't one of them.

I’d love to put an ls in my 70 satellite and my challenger. Hopefully there’s a bolt in kit available soon.

There’s a guy out here who builds mini coopers (the old school ones) with Honda engines

Go away. You are clearly trolling the members here with that kind of crap.

Seek some electric shock therapy as soon as possible!

I need some electric shock therapy as soon as possible because I’m delusional, I think I’m Castro, I think I own every Chrysler car ever made and I think I can tell people what to do

fixed** I think this is what you really meant to type :)

Cmon man all kidding aside people can do whatever they want with their own cars.

If you don’t like it no harm no foul but no need to trash it
