How do you eat your chili?

I am getting lots of ideas from this thread. I remember when I was 16 I helped my older brother move, one of his buddy’s brought chili. It was so hot we had the door open January in Iowa we were still sweating from the heat!

Pineapple on pizza, ketchup on hot dogs, and beans in chili. Heresy!

New England clam chowder or Manhattan is best?

New England of course.
New England Clam CHowder please. Yes, pineapple on pizza is delish. (with canadian bacon. No Ham!))

Too hot. Overkill.

No ham on pizza! I always ask is it Canadian bacon slices?
Cheers to that. No ice in my bourbon either.

100%. Nothing goes in my bourbon. Mike have you tried the stainless steel cubes you put in the freezer? I use them in my root beer and lemonade

I have them. I need to try and see if my bourbon needs cooled down. LOL

I like Pinto beans, ham hock with corn bread. I was practically raised on it. But I do make corn bread and use chili with beans for a substitute.

You guys are making me hungry :p

Let's not go there. Original chili con carne does not. I like beans. In fact I usually make mine with 3 or 4 different kinds.
Yeah - came across a recipe while ago that includes kidney, pinto, black, and maybe another bean, not recalling offhand, onions, red pepper, diced tomato's, add corn later in the cook. Cook in a crock pot for 5 hours - I'm getting hungry...

Hasn't cooled off enough here yet for chili,
Lol, you’re in FL? When does it get cool enough to make chili…when the iguanas start falling from the trees?

I am from Canada. What is Canadian bacon? I have only heard Americans refer to it.

Always thought it was that round slice of meat I get on an egg-McMuffin at Mac’s that I remove and throw out before I eat it…

Lol. Yea Jan or Feb or we just crank the a/c down and pretend it's Fall.

Supposed to get a "cold" front next week - into the 60's overnight...brrr

sometimes w cheddar cheese in it , sometimes raw onion , or both , and always crackers either saltine or the small oyster crackers mixed in , adds a unique flavor. don’t have to be hot (spicy hot) but a lil hot sauce all ways good . we go thru tons of franks hot sauce! i usually make a big kettle of chili and freeze in gallon ziplock, eat all year …
