Points or no points? That is the question.

Doing what I do I really have to be carefull of the parts I get in. Way to many fake Mopar stuff out there. Think the worst scam is the newer Mopar Electronic kits. Made by proform, but authorized as direct connection. Really crap and have a super fast curve on most of them.

Also who does make a reliable ECU?
Now? Crapshoot. FBO has one that is made mostly with components made in USA. Good one but not cheap. The HiRev 7500 was a decent one from my testing. Think they stopped making them. Find the older pre 1995 stuff if you can. I really like the Petronix 510 set up just like MSD, but reliable and 1/4 the price. Really depends what you want to achieve. Points will always get you home if you understand them.

Just a guide here

Thank you Halifaxhops for the valued info. I'll keep the patchwork electronic ignition going with the info you gave me. Meanwhile I'll be looking for a points distributor to prepare myself in the event the electronic ignition leaves me stranded one more time. I only put a thousand miles a year on my time machine cruising about.
Thanks
