Making progress. Heads and intake manifold are ordered and on their way. Also ordered a Carter M3672 fuel pump. The old pump was broken in half.

Once you get it all together, check your fuel pressure early on. I went through three pumps before I found one under 6 lb.s.

Heads and rocker shafts installed.
Test fitting the manifold. Ran out of the Turquoise paint so will need to wait a bit before proceeding.
Valve covers are just sitting in place. I have had these in storage for over a decade. Thought now might be a good time to put them to use.

Put some oil in it, ran the oil pump to get primed and then installed the Intake Manifold.

Heads painted, fan and pulley installed. Still waiting for new parts to arrive.
Also, it turns out my Holley 850 is so old that Holley doesn't even list parts for it on their website. I emailed them and they said I had to call and speak to an order specialist. LOL

Ended up reusing the alternator brackets as the one I ordered from 440 Source didn't fit.
Alternator is installed but I don't have a belt so it's sitting in place.
Order a new power steering pump, not realizing that It didn't come with a cap.
Did the engine have two fan belts installed? Right now it appears everything is aligning with the rear groove in the crankshaft drive pulley.
Which brings me to another question. I found that I have two extra drive pulleys. One is like what I have on my engine measuring somewhere around 7 3/8" with same size grooves.
The other is about 6 5/8" and the inside groove appears smaller.
The bolt pattern and center hole are the same.
Any insight into which one goes with what engine would be helpful.

2 belts, 1 around the PS pump and crank pulley and the other goes around the alternator, water pump pulley and crank pulley.

Your alternator pulley looks different than the two I have.
Both of mine have a smaller two groove pulley on them.
Makes me wonder if either of them is correct for the car?
