The rubber brake hose on the rear axle, does it get a copper (or other) washer where it threads into the T block on the rear end housing?

'69 Charger...

Not Mopar specific, but it’s not a “regular” washer. It should be soft copper with a little larger hole. The hose “should” have come with it

Thanks, it figures that it should have come with the hose. That's the problem with buying parts, and installing them months or years later. I can't really go back and complain now, especially since I'm not 100% sure where I bought it.

I'll have to try and find something that will work.

Are the washers used in diesel injectors, and motorcycle brakes similar? I keep a supply of them. They can corrode over time, but it takes while.

This is off my 68 Charger, and the new hose- inverted flare no washer

Thanks to everyone that responded.

It does have that flare thing that was mentioned.

I'm just going to stuff it in there without a washer and see what happens.

What will happen is a nice leak free joint, just like the factory intended. This is assuming that the hose is the correct one and is made properly.
