thanks for the tips on online resources. was trying to sign up for 69roadrunner but apparently you have to write an autobiography to join...gotta have a few minutes to sit down and do it but def. seems worth it.
Hey guys..so after a year or so of slowly gathering parts here and there on a budget, I'm ready (I think) to give my 69 a facelift from its current beat up state.
I will be swapping out the front bumper, the bumper filler, and the center grille section. Ive been looking online, but is there...
eminent domain. As someone already mentioned, if it's a public safety or health hazard and the owner does not address the problem, then its a valid option. And they don't "just take it away" - you have to be properly compensated.
It's not me talking out of my ***, its in the Constitution...
hate to tell ya this brah, but the only people who care about the collectability of those limited edition cars are...the people who buy them as an investment. Seen a lot of numbered 2008 Challengers that sold new for $50K go for $30K or less. Thing is, there is nothing about them that sets them...

Kind of an oddball question...but besides the 70 'bird..did the Satellite/RR/GTX/Belvedere ever run in NASCAR in the late 60's? If I remember correctly, Petty was running Fords those years...so who ran them, if at all?
Kinda curious, b/c i think itd be cool to do a "tribute" car to that era...
