have a pic of where the hoses come out?

I know where they are supposed to come out, but someone has sealed it off and left the hoses just blocked off with no drain ability behind the kick panels and behind the lower rear interior panels.

With a pic I will have a better idea how to re route them properly.

Thank you.

Can you do me a favor and take pics of well... everything sunroof related? I have a bondoed in sunroof with a replaced headliner. When I decide to re-do the car I will need as much info as possible.

Also, if you take out the sail pannel you can see the tubes going down. That little bit is still there on my car.

my tubes go all the way from the sun roof pan down to where they should exit. But I think someone bondoed in the holes and hit the inner fender wells with truck bed coating. I would really like a look at where I should sand down and find the holes to go back through.

I have a decent number of pics, but if you undo your bondo and pull your headliner you may be ahead of me!

My 74 Sunroof RR is gutted, and I just replaced the tubes to the original locations. I'll try to get pix by the weekend.

I've got a 74 charger with sunroof that I will look at this weekend, if I get it out. I've got to redo the vinyl top, so it sounds like I need to take pictures for an archive. :icon_cheers:(this is what a smilie looks like hanging out of a sunroof in a b body at 100 mph!!)

I have scans of the factory sunroof supplement to the 72 service manual.

I guy that was selling the sunroof owners manual supplement GAVE them to me.

I also have said 72 service manual. I think it is a power s/r but most parts are the same. however, the standard 72 service manual doesn't go into too much detail, hence the supplement.

I'll gladly post them when I find them again.

This would be some great reference material to have! Anybody have any idea how many sunroof cars there are on this site. Local restorer has a 71 gtx with a sunroof in his shop. Thats got to be rare. Just curious.

any luck on any pics?

my car lives outside,

I can only go so long before I have to get it set up right,
or find my self sealing it off with gasket maker or seam sealer to stop the leaking.

Why are you being a DICK to all this guys posts? If you are just trying to be funny, then it is coming across wrong.

Sorry, I've had the flu for 5+ days. I have had time to do alot of surfing and you know what? There is very little info on the web about factory sunroof cars.:sad4:

Tell me about it. They are like some little footnote that is barely documented.

Well, I found the diagrams, but the don't show the wheel well end of the drain.

They're a bit intimidating to decipher.

I was looking for the cable drive layout, and that is perhaps the most difficult thing to see. I think they may have even omitted the cabe for "clarity".

They also look like crap at firts glance, but enlarge nicely and become quite clear.

Sorry to drag my feet buddy. Here they are. The first 2 pics are from the drivers side rear, looking down, with the end of the tube facing the front of the car. The 3rd one is the right front looking into the kick-panel area. Definately NOT how I would do it! They are thumbnails, so click on to enlarge.

http://www.collectorsautosupply.com...AR DOOR CONTINUED, ROOF AND QUARTER PANEL.jpg this is not a sale or wanted ad!
Flu has few rewards but it does give you time to do mindless endless searches and I just found THIS. Its a collision estimating guide on collectors auto supply that shows part numbers for sunroofs in Chargers. This site is awesome for identifying parts. Just to let you know the only part they have is handles, NOS and used, to the tune of $320 and $80 something. Also for your information I already ran the numbers through about every NOS
Mopar site I could find and that is ALL there is available. While my greediness does technically make me an ***, I saved everybody a whole lot of time. And I am sharing the info NOW. I believe I can safely say this thread with the diagrams and pics is the foremost largest amassed amount of info on Mopar sunroofs available on the Web. Which is real inspiring.:eusa_boohoo: I wondered why I couldn't find the drain holes on my car. Like an idiot, I thought "Hey water should be drained out of the car, not in it!". Same engineer designed the vacuum ashtrays on the old cars. They sucked Hot ashes out of your ashtray and dumped them behind the kick panel where by themselves they were supposed to go into the rockerpanel to be washed away. Does anybody else have a headliner in your car? This 74 material is butt ugly and I think I could do a ModTop one before this cordurow Sears and Roebuck tent material. The bad part is I think it is the right one. I also heard that sunroof cars were built off line so maybe the company also did drapes.

Well, I got the material samples from SMS and they have the headliner material. So if anybody else has this weird cloth headliner in a sunroof car, they may have what you need. They also have the green cobra grain top material which looks to be NOS. The weird thing is how shiny it is. Carpet sample looks dead on, but the 2 greens they have for seats are just a little different. The prices are about 75% higher than black or white but thats 2 be expected for a color like green. Now all I need is the green to order everything.
