same here, think it was a 74 or 75 KZ900. fast bike back then. it was my dads and i almost creamed it into the back of a vehicle on my way the the DMV test. drove the KZ 500 two stroke as well, what a sound those thing put out.LOL

KZ 900, not sure I had a Motorcycle license yet,
I drove one for years before I ever got a bike certification,
but it might have been a Z1R 1000 or a Kawi 750 Triple

here's a couple none mine, loved the sound of the H2's 750 & 500 Kawi triples,
sounded like a formula 1 car at speed & just kackling at lower rpms
I had a nice 85 Yamaha VMax 1200cc
looked like a cruiser but actually Hauled-a$$ & handled very well for a twin cam v-twin

1981 Suzuki GS250. I had been riding for years on various learner (I almost just spelled that "leaner permit" I guess that too!)permits. Got the "under 305" ticket. I went back a few weeks later on my brand new (1988 or 89) Honda NT650, a.k.a. Hawk GT, and got the 305 restriction lifted. I kept the Honda about 7 or 8 years, I kept the Suzuki 27 years. Ended up getting rid of it when the crankcase split. I guess too many miles riding to work at 75-85 mph on I-80!

1975, Rhode Island, a 1975 FX Superglide
(FX= kick start, Superglide=1200CC)

kick start a 1200 shovelhead on cold days, that must have been fun

my ol'Pops had a IIRC a 78 80ci/1200cc Shovelhead Electraglide bagger,
Electric start...LOL, afterall he's a little dude
he rode it something like twice & he dumped it both times, or 2 of 3
he just wasn't meant to be on a bike, never rode one before going & buying one...
I think he was trying just to be closer to me, understand me...LOL

I sold it quickly after he bailed on it

I liked the Superglides, not really that much in the AMF years thou,
more my style kind of a sport bike look,
I had mostly rice rockets, Yamaha's & Kawi's a few Honda's {mostly dirt bikes & quads},
a Harley here & there, when it was dirt cheap, I really liked going fast carving corners,
rather than being on a cruiser/thumper, the V-Max was great, best of both worlds to me...

not my bikes just photos from the web/goggle

Here's me on a 1969 BSA. I was eighteen, been riding for two years. We use to take a beer truck along with us. A guy in the back would hand you an ice cold one anytime while we were riding. Guy in the cab was taking pictures this run...

95-1200 sportster. I'm 63 and still riding a 03 ultra classic. My wife and I have riden it in all 48 states and canada. We have ridden from W.V. to the Pacific coast 4 times, the last time was last spring. I bought the 03 new and now have 94,000mi on it and still going strong.

2008 Heritage classic.

065.jpg I passed, the lady cop doing the test was amazed. She asked how long I had been practicing. Told her never. Been riding off and on for 40 + years. South Carolina just wanted me to take it. I had been out of the country for awhile...

72 H2 kaw

Haha, no way. Very cool. Nicer than mine. Yamaha tw200. Yes the trail bike with giant balloon tires. I could figure eight that beast with one finger and my eyes closed. Was like having training wheels. A two stroke h2 would have been a different story!
