This photo was shot after the first "dry" or "tack" coat of clear went on. I'll have to get some photos of the car with all four coats applied. It has taken me and my friend two years to get this far. It's taking some time, but she's laser straight. Hood, doors, and fenders are all painted and ready for reassembly.

I just put mine in primer and ready to start Blocking it. Looks excellent! Now you can have fun putting everything back on, Perfect!

Feels great to get to that point! Looking good!

Well, I don't have much for photos, but here is a rear fender after 4 coats of clear. We have not done any colour sanding yet, but she's still pretty shiny. I'll get some photos when I get a chance to go out to the garage and visit the old girl.IMG_3855.jpg

I am envious! Your Project is looking fantastic. Thank you for sharing the photos with us.

She looks neat and sweet. Enjoy that ride since you're so close to the street.

This isn't the final bezel it's just an older one I used for fitting. It actually centers pretty well on the smaller gauges when screwed down although the bezel does cut off the word "water" just slightly on the edges on the temp gauge. In this photo it's a bit off center along with the camera angle being at a bit of an angle making the gauges look cut off. The final bezel will be woodgrain. I used the factory gauge lenses and modified the cluster housing to add support to the rear of the gauges. Anyway, this is my take on aftermarket gauges in a rallye dash. It should look pretty good with the woodgrain bezel and a little care centering the bezel during installation.

what brand and size gauges did u use

Equss 2" gauges. The 1.5 would fit better but the fuel gauge does not come in 1.5". The speedo and tach are 3 3/8".
