WoW, this is a Surprise. Thank You Ski. I said all along that my Dad was a Rainmaking when i was born in 53, it was a moonlight job & He had a Vultee BT-13 & a North American T- 6, the back holes were loaded with the gear. His job was non-sched cargo with outfit called Axxeco,
flying Curtiss C-46's, great airplane. I have one log from Axxeco time, just the one book has over 7,500 hrs in C-46's. Test Pilot in two w Douglas, in less than two yrs he racked over 1300 hrs B-17F's alone, plus He was flying A-20's & SBD's......then Martin, my absolute end Love in Birds, the B-26. Wish i had those logs!.
Sorry, off topic, Hey, im real Proud of my Old Man' & His career, many phases of aviation, on the birth of corporate aviation, when it was about building hot rods out of war surplus, the Howards, oh man what stuff. Yeah, im proud.
Thanx for chiming in & a really nice Genuine Gesture from Ski........Most Exvellent Thank You!
