They do make it look modern but have the nostalgia feel.

I'm still having a hard time choosing wheels for my burnt orange/copper 70 r/t. All I know is they will like be 17x9 or 8x19 since i haven't decided between 13" or 14" brake rotors yet.

i'm thinking old school or stock

it would be nice to find a 17" repros of whats on the car but, i'd have to get a pic to show you guys.

OR the Y1 Mopar Rallye.

Someone sells an 18" version of the Rallye but, it looks wierd as hell.

The hole spacing and shape just looks ...off.

The burnt orange 70 survivor has the 17x9 rally replicas on it.

The 69 r/t has the year one replicas and redline 17s.

The 69 charger on my rig has the American racing 17x9 magnum replicas which I prefer over the year ones for cost quality and looks

It looks like a great start to me

i've ordered the willwood 13" brakes for up front possibly tempted to upgrade to 14" however i've noticed most I.R.S kits only had like 12" discs, would having bigger brakes up front vs the rear matter at all?

also if i get 14" brakes then i deffintley can't put the 17" OEMs on. i'm thinking the 17x9 oem rallyes and or the http://www.etmags.com/classic_v.html which also comes polished which might match the chrome split rim coronet grill.

I also might decide soon so i can get on the ground and out the shop clean all the dust off so i can take it apart and put it on rotisery cause the work flow makes so much sens. :p The n again i could get some cheap 18" SUV wheels in the mean time.

Year One aluminum Rally wheels. I REALLY needed some sticky wide tires in the back so I can actually floor it at some point in 1st gear without smoking the tires. 8" fronts and 9" rears with 315/35/17 Toyo Proxes TQ drag radials! The rear tires fit in the fenderwell like they could have been original factory equipped! About 1 1/2" clearance between the tire and stock location leaf springs and outer fenderwell.

I love my 68 but damn, I really like the 70s. Best year of the bird in my opinion. I always love seeing that beauty Biomed.

Thanks Runner. The 68s led the way, 69s Car of the Year and added fresh air, and the 70 kept the beautiful "coke bottle" body shape, added the ultimate (imo) fresh air system of ALL muscle cars, and a little more "modern" front and rear appearance. I found a 70 too far gone for God to restore, but the N96 Air Grabber was in good shape, so I am getting closer to having one on my car :)
