Hello all,
I have gone to shows where people will have a letter confirming a cars authenticity and even "# of" info (like 1 of 17 made and 1 of 4 known to exist). Generally it seems like Chrysler and I have tried multiple times to reach out to their registry with no luck.
I have a 63 Plymouth Sport Fury - 2 door, convertible, Max Wedge (sadly it now has a 383 but I am shopping!) and it has never left my family. I want to create a book with all the info I can and would appreciate any advice on having a source certify it. I have the original build sheet and tags (even dealer paperwork) just want to get someone to confirm it as legit and perhaps provide more info.
Thank you.

I know that for a time, records for pre-67 cars existed. There is, of course, the famous fire of 1968 or so that took out the records of the height of the muscle car era. I good friend of mine was able to get records for his 65 Coronet.

As much changes of ownership have happened, along with the closing of the museum under FCA, I'm not sure if that service is still available. Keep the records you have safe. It's been in your family all this time, that's all the certification you really need.

Hope you have better luck with galen then i did. Emailed twice and no reply.

http://www.mmcdetroit.com/ is putting together a package for my '67 Coronet R/T based on broadcast sheet, vin, fender tag and original bill of sale.

And I have FCA doing an historical report on the car. As mentioned, unfortunately, a lot of mopar muscle car records were destroyed, missing or never recorded.

Good luck!

If YOU have all the documentation and paperwork, why do you need someone to validate what you already have and know? You have better info than anyone.
