Vanity plates

HEMISLED on my awd R/T wagon, because it's a wild ride in winter with the ice radials, with the T/C on it's point and shoot, with the T/C off it's too much fun!

I saw a woman in Wisconsin had PB4WEGO. For here kids to use the bathroom & the BMV was going to ban it.

Years back another gal in the dairy state had WHIPS for a while I guess until the state thought that was a bit too off; so went the rumor..

Great bunch of Vanity plates out there! It brought me back to 1980 when I was visiting my brother in Billings Montana, he introduced me to prostitute named April. She owned a 1976 Corvette Sting Ray. Her plate read (POF-APRIL) She told me it was all paid for by her customers. I thought it was a pretty unique plate. I used to have a picture of it but can't seem to locate it anymore.
No..............I didn't get a ride in either of them.

My 71 340 Cuda had '340CID' on it when I bought it but it was already expired and didn't renew it due to the cost. Saw another car (don't recall the brand) that had STIKIT on it. Thought that was pretty cool. In Texas, all we could do was 6 letters/digits.

I saw one on a Cuda that read MOGASM
A buddy has/had that on his 70 440 RT Challenger here in Texas. Not sure if he still has it or not......

Just ordered a new set of plates a few minutes ago. Can not believe that this plate has not been taken in the 30+ years vanity plates have been available, but it ain't available no more !!! :D

I had "LOVE 69" for many years on my 69 Coronet R/T. Back in my early 80's cruising days, I got a lot of female smiles and likes. Those were the days!

When i owned this 71 Hemi GTX, these were the plates that i had on the car.

I owned the plates 'V8HEMI' for many years over here.....sold them for 5 times what I paid for them in 1989.

They were on a Toymota for many years, until a guy with a V8 Jeep bought them about 10 years ago. :)

A few years ago, when I still had the plates, I took my wife up to the mall for some big sale. I parked on the other side of the building and was sitting in the R/T. I noticed a woman about my age standing on the curb looking at me. She slowly walked over and asked about the car. She replied with a big smile-I had a lot of good times in a car just like this and the plates fit it very well. Thank you for the memories.
