Have always loved that colour, looking forward to your progress.
Roger likes to use the Matrix system. He says it easy to use and goes down nicely. He's been using it for years. He's painted a couple of Cudas and a few Harleys with it. He swears by it. And it does look great. I believe it's part of the Sikkens family. No custom mix, just their version of FK5 base coat clear. He only put down 2 coats of clear on the valance since he'll be sanding it back down.
Anything specific you wanting to know MG? I'd be happy to ask.
No I'm pretty sure you could go to a auto body supply store that mixes paint and they would be able to mix it up for you. If that is what you are asking me?Is this a formula that can be purchased over he counter or do i have to go through a autobody shop? I'm working on a FK5 roadrunner and this looks nice.
thanks, J
Yes Allan lots of the small stuff left to be done. But for now everything we need to bolt the body together for paint I think is done. Find out soon I hope??Looking really really nice.
Yeah I never thought I would get all caught up with bolts, also realized that the factory sometimes uses a mix of bolts with different head patterns.
