it is with a heavy heart that I am asking for anyone who lives in the area to help me send off my oldest and dearest friend.
Todd Passed away suddenly friday 11/20/20.
when I say Todd was a Mopar guy, it does not even scratch the surface, when I tell you he was my friend, the word friend does not even come close to the 40 year relationship that we had, he was so much more than just my friend, my bother, he was part of my soul. Uncle to my children, nemesis to my wife .
His Mother has asked me to escort the hearse in his 71 charger, but I would like to do more than that, I would like to get as many old muscle cars together as we can and send him off the way he deserves. those who are will to help would need to meet in latonia, ky Saturday 11/28 at 10:30 - 11:00 am area +/- . I would love to have as many as we can get for the procession and I would like to have every one give him a big send off of revving engines as they parade past the grave site. the procession will be from Latonia, ky to Independence, ky approx 10 miles.
Please let me know if you are willing to help, although Todd was a MoPar guy, any make is welcome as long as it is old and LOUD !

Thank you to all !

JP, I am very sorry for your loss. Friendships like this are worth so much.

For me, this would be over 9 hours to drive each way. I might try to do it under normal circumstances, but my engine has some issues and I would not trust it for such a long drive.

I hope our Mopar brethren can show up for this and honor a fallen car guy.

Sorry for your loss. Wish I could help but my car isn't road ready yet. Hopefully others can help. Prayers sent to you and your friends family

So very sorry to read of your loss. I'm afraid that's a bit of a trip I'm not "allowed" to make
anymore, but I send prayers for both your families and appreciate all your efforts to do right
by your brother.

Whaaat?

That sucks.

Did he have an underlying condition?

Please give the family my condolences.

I only met him a couple of times, bur he seemed like a good guy, with his head on right.

I'm sorry to learn of the loss of your friend and I will praying for God's comfort for you and all who knew him. I wish I lived closer to participate in the caravan of muscle. May Todd rest in peace!

Hey Brother,
no there were no underlying issues, we talked ever day, he had just told me thursday how good he felt, said he hadnt felt that good in 20 years, he was fine at 2:30 pm, the school called his mother when he didnt pick up his 10 year old son at school at 4:30 pm, his mother went to pick up his son and went to his house and found him, he had apparently stood up from his recliner and fell forward. the coroner said either a massive heart attack or an aneurysm. he was gone before he hit the floor.
I am broken over loosing the best friend i have ever had, and i know i now need to step in and be a father figure to his son.
none of our lives will ever be the same, but Todd did not have a burial plot, I happen to have a spare, so he will be interred next to me. we can have fun together for eternity.

If any one has any ideas of how i might change the thread name to draw more attention please make any suggestions

Sorry for your loss. I lost one my oldest and best friends the same way 2 years ago. Still think about him all the time.

yea, i know how you feel still looking at my phone waiting for his call or text. I just really hope i can get at least a small group together to escort him to the cemetary

Again, with apologies, I can't make it due to the distance. Perhaps you can also look up some local Mopar clubs (or even regular car clubs) and see if you can round up some cars. Might be worth a shot.

Sorry for your loss.
I know not many people are on FB but I have found through research there are a lot of local mopar clubs. You may reach out that way or contact your local Chrysler dealership and see if they have any clubs that would be willing to join in.
Prayers to you and the family
