Hey everybody. My names Ben and I’m 15 years old. Soon I’m acquiring a 68 dodge super bee with no engine or trans, no windshield no grill and no front seats. I plan to buy a 440-6 block from my neighbour and learn how to build an engine. Here is a photo of the car:

Welcome from Alabama, 68 Superbee is a great project.

Welcome. And looks to me you are on a good start? Keep posting of progress?

Welcome aboard Ben. It's nice to see younger folks getting into old cars. Thanks for joining!:)

68 Bee was the one that got away for me.... a dream yet unfulfilled.

Lucky you to start off with one!

Welcome young man, best of luck on the build.
Got my gtx when i was 17 years old and still have it. That was in 1979.

Welcome aboard Ben, from the middle of the mitten. Best of luck on your build!

Welcome to the forum from Canada. It is nice to see younger enthusiasts getting into our hobby as a lot of us old "greyhairs" are leaving it. There is a lot of knowledge on this forum that a lot of us will be only too happy to share with you. Saying that, I don't see a "B" pillar on this car, so I don't think it is a Superbee. All 1968 Superbee's were coupes; no hardtops until 1969. Check your VIN #; it should start WM27. It looks more like a Coronet 440 hardtop to me; WH23. I bought a new Superbee coupe in 1969. Sunfire Yellow with 383/automatic.
