I agree with post #2 a example is, no one is reporting any normal flu deaths for the past year. So the flu disappeared ? ?

or maybe the flu cases got intertwined with covid results?
 
Mostly it's High School kids who get it...Or that was the case a decade or so ago when mine were in School...
 
My wife's coworker got it a couple of years ago.

It might be just as prevalent, but since COVID/Delta have taken center stage, you probably wont hear about it.

Also with quarantining/social distancing, contagious disease cases have probably gone down.

I bring this up all the time with people I know and are close to me. There were a lot of deaths due to the regular flu too but no one paid much attention to it.....until the '19' hit.

Not much social distancing is happening here and even though I agree that contagious disease like the regular flu may not be happening I'm thinking that it's being lumped in with Covid like so many other ailments are.

They don’t have time for silly things like mono.

HEY. DONT GIVE THE GERM MAKERS ANYMORE IDEAS! Mono like this variant of Covid is considered highly contagious. Mono would be an excellent delivery agent for some genetically altered super pathogen. All it would take is lab talents and some crazy ideology?
