Welcome to the best Mopar site around from a fellow Wisconsinite. Great looking car and what an awesome wife :drinks:.

Thanks for the Welcome you are right about that AWESOME WIFE I WAS SPEECHLESS and continue shaking my head and visiting my shop at night just to stare at the car. Maybe we bump into each other at a gathering this summer.
Tired of the COLD!
Thanks again for the Welcome!

If I ever got a REAL RR for a Birthday present, I would have died from shock! :D

Multi, I continue to be speechless and spend some nights going into my shop just to stare at the car!

Welcome from PA! Awesome RR and as others have said, you're lucky to have such a great wife and good neighbor! ruffcut

Ruffcut, thanks for the shoutout, the RR is the car of my dreams my wife got tired of my moaning, I’m all better now!
Ruffcut? I was a wood worker for 20 odd years any relationship to your title? DAMN what a collection of hardware the guy at Graveyard would be jealous I’m thinking
My motor head neighbor has a similar good fortune mostly Chevy several Camaro’s Corvettes Chevy ll along with other cool stuff INCLUDING Grumpy’s Vega Pro stock his driveway rocks! Thanks for the shoutout

Welcome aboard Sir, from the middle of the mitten. My first car was a 1969 RR that I bought in 1978 near Little Bohemia at a service station on M-51 (I think it was Little Star Garage). Paid $500 for it back then. Wish I had that car back. Lived in Ironwood at that time and a little later (1980) we used to cross the river all the time into Wisconsin, as the drinking age was still 18 there. Great car and better memories. Enjoy your ride Sir.

Builder, Thanks for the shoutout,
Originally from NJ so I along with my high school buddies would cross over into upstate NY for the same reason.
Once while racing? In my American Motors Rambler on the way up I crested a hill to fast and broke the kingpins tow me home was a lesson I have never forgot
Thanks again

Welcome from Alabama, you have a great knowledgeable wife and or neighbor to be able to pick out such a well restored RR. Congratulations and join the fun.
Thanks Jerry, upon further inspection some crafty repairs have been found, but I do not look a gift horse in the mouth
Want to stay married! Love this car

Welcome fellow WI – nite; I’m only a couple years shy of you in the vintage department. I joined the forum in 2016 (how time flies) and wish I would have joined sooner. The folks on this forum are fantastic, super knowledgeable being of great help – advice, tips, tricks, locating parts, etc. Great story about your sweet RR!

Ron, thanks for the shoutout, time evaporates yessir!
To quote the comedian Steven Wright
“ I wanna live forever- so far so good!
Hoping the Wi group can meet up sometime
Thanks again!

It’s COLD in WI

Sobeski, cold? It’s got damn frigid! Thanks for the shoutout
Not to rub it in but some wealthy friends of ours are taking my wife and I to the Bahamas, never been, Pina Coladas anyone?

I think I saw 34 today coming home

Mid thirties to near 40 for a few this week

Everywhere and everything is just ugly white from all the brine and salt

Man , bring on the 40s LOL

Welcome aboard. Great story and nice ride. As noted by the replies, there many Wisconsinites on this site. What part of WI are you in?

D

Big D, I reside across the street from the Merrimack Ferry on the Lodi side. Bought a little parcel back in the woods and built a home bout 12 years ago. It’s nice and private, great for a Plymouth/Dodge party.
No offense to anyone as my magic neighbor is a Chevy guy. We talked about doing a large hot rod get together our property’s are perfect for this, will keep everyone posted as I look into the ramifications
Thank you for the welcome
Bill

I thought Sobieski was a Russian Spy from the 50’s. Pre Vlad KGB.

Welcome, Bill - great car and story! Keep your calendar open for the June and August WI Mopar Muscle Club shows if you don't mind driving that gem a little bit. Always a good time and a great group of guys.

You got it goin’ on Bill. Congrats and welcome.

Thank you so much for the welcome. My wife had it goin’ on. As I now have learned her and my neighbor Dave were looking months before my birthday. When the car was selected again, Dave drove to Ohio from here in Wi. to see it first hand!!
Some people are just good to the core, I am so lucky
