I've seen some strange stuff come off the assembly lines.....and that one tops the list! And when you think about it.....it's not hard at all to do on the assembly line. Makes sense because you don't want your passengers getting out on the street side. Dad used to drive a cab in the late 50's and he would take me with him on the weekends to give my mom a break (yeah, I drove her up a wall) and I'd open the door for the little old ladies. Got lots of tips too :D Seems like I remember dad making the comment one time "dang it boy, you're making more money than I am" lol
 
That is actually a cute story....the kid OUTshining the dad!

Oh man, did that over a month ago or so!! Short all over now....maybe an inch long in the back and the front is barely getting close to the eyes.

I have had some press over the years and had photo shoots and my cars in mags before. Never cared all that much. Hell, when I win a first place, class trophy or plaque at a car show or cruise night. I give it to one of the kids at the show.
 
You think that's bad? My birthday came and went and no "Happy Birthday Fesser" on FBBO. If they miss it again, 30 years from now, I am going to be pissed. Actually the piss will probably be on me as I will be 91 then. Oh well. Guess I will just be happy with what I have in life and not worry too much about recognition.
 
I was interviewed on Motoring 90 TV, one hungover Sunday morning in the park in Orillia Ontario in front of the Bee and Bird. I should upload that memory some day....
