I'm ready and I hope, overprepared .
This will be my 6th time making the drive there. This usually works out to just under 1000 miles round trip from my place East of Sacramento.
If anyone has a leaky hose, a loose bolt, a flat tire or a dead battery, look me up.

Park is looking great. Was just there yesterday evening.
Gopher holes are minimal too. They must have did something there.
The rain last weekend kept the dust down too.

Came east on the 166 off the 101, caught the 5 then met up with the valley caravan x3.

Yep, good times.
I haven’t “caravanned” in years. It does help to have the piece of mind in case something happens in the road.
I was the only one with an issue and it turned out to be a false alarm. Distance between gas stations was a mystery. The wife looked up for nearest stations as we were around 1/8 tank (or thereabouts). I pulled over, Randy drove on to fill a 1 gallon can. It turns out the next station was maybe 3 miles up the freeway so I would have been fine. Those gas stations didn’t show up on a search so it would have been a gamble.
We saw a few Mopar guys at the hotel, guys I’ve read from on this forum and FABO.
Malibu cruise tomorrow!
Poor Steve…. He is busy with the show every year and never gets to join in on their social activities like this.

The Friday before the show is a fun day. People from all over get together to talk cars and everything else. The cruise is great, the sights of these great cars, the scenery of the mountains and trees, the smells and sounds of V8 engines burning gasoline…
