    Oil leaks

Really all you need to do is lay a piece of paper over the valve cover hole. If it sticks you have negative pressure. Only way to achieve this is to create vacuum in the crankcase from the intake manifold. Factory uses a hose from the carburetor base to the valve cover. One valve cover has the...

    Big block adjustable rocker arms

I opted to use spacers and not springs. Took a little longer to do but I won't have to worry about them moving. I think it was .005 clearance between the rockers. Had to trim the hold downs too to center the rockers just right.

Legal issue with VIN on a B-J car today?

I'd like to know the history on the car. Was it built with the intention of being a clone? Was it built to deceive to gain more money? I thought BJ had an expert that knew Mopars and would have checked the number in the trunk. The fender tag is definitely a fake with codes that would be on...

    Picking up tomorrow

PO had separated the drums from the front and rear hubs. They replaced the studs and the shoulder on the knurled part protruded too far out past the drum and the steel wheels wouldn't tighten up.They were okay with the mags that were previously on it. Plus the studs were loose in the hub, they...

    452 head porting?

Some have used a double gasket. Don't know if I like the idea. Quick fix is to grind/taper the header flange before installation. I like the Doug's headers.

Just a little update. Last week we installed the bumpers. Week before installed drivers side lower control arm. (Swiped one off a parts car in sub zero temperatures) Have to get it back on the ground to set the ride height and final torque. @FU64RY has been polishing trim and installing them...

Why would a substantial amount of water leak from this area?

Clear water or green coolant? Clear water could be condensation. Green coolant...

64 Sport Fury convertible 3 on the tree

Took my driving test in a 1959 Ford, three on the tree. Instructor asked "are you sure you want to use this vehicle?" Passed it first try. I had a '68 GMC pickup that the shifter would hang up if you didn't down shift to second before coming to a stop. I had a cop following me rather close one...
