I have a 400 4 speed that I just installed a new carb on. The car runs fair when it's cold, but once it warms up it stumbles when taking off from a stop. I have the drivers side vacuum port plugged, the passenger side port goes to the distributor, and the PCV port goes to the brake booster as I...
Can someone please explain the best way to disassemble the reverse detent assembly? I've heard horror stories of guys dropping the ball in the ball into the transmission, so I'm hoping to avoid that.
Also, is there anything special to re-installing the assembly?
Can someone identify what temp is at the halfway mark on the 1968-1970 rallye temp gauge? I’m guessing 200, but I would like some input from t someone that knows.
Also, is there an aftermarket gauge that is a good fit with better temp identification?

Can someone point me in the right direction for a grommet (or whatever part is supposed to be there) for where the brake pedal goes through the firewall (diamond shaped hole) on a 70 road runner?

I replaced the Holley carb on my 70 RR 383 with a MSD Atomic EFI system. Now I can't get the transmission to downshift when I get on it. I think the problem is the kick down linkage, so does anyone have any idea what the measurements are for the kick down linkage?
I just installed an MSD Atomic EFI system on my 70 RR. Everything seemed to be going smooth until we took it for a spin and started smelling burnt wires. We figured out that the alternator was putting out too many volts and causing the wire to heat up.
Any idea what the issue is?
