'67 Coronet temp control slide lever cable problem

The temp control slide lever cable is disconnected at wherever it attaches to at the heater door. (It's still attached to the slide lever). What needs to removed so I can get to it, so it can be fixed? After 28 years in a barn I've finally got it drivable. Just a few more bugs to work out; this...

1967 Dodge Coronet fender mounted turn signal bulb replacement

I don't want to break it! I remove the screw attaching it to the fender, pull the shiny metal housing straight up, and I see the bulb socket. How do I release that socket so I can change the bulb? Sorry if this has been asked before.

    Cheap-O seat covers?

I don't have the coinage right now for expensive Legendary seat covers. Does anyone know a source for the cheap ones that are just thrown on and held by elastic. My priority is fitment over how they look. I have a 1967 coronet hardtop. My seats are currently shredded! Help.

    Question about bench seat identification

I found out (on this forum) that I have 1970 Road Runner bench seats in my 1967 Coronet. Will correct 1967 Coronet seat covers fit these 1970 frames?

    Shock installation question

I'm installing shocks on my 67 Coronet. The Factory Service Manual instructs tightening fasteners to spec with the full weight of the vehicle on the ground. How important is this? I can't think of a reason why this matters. Also, I'm putting on KYB gas adjust shocks. Anyone have them and what...

A pair of undercoating questions regarding a 67 Coronetn

I've been fixing up my 67 Coronet that had been in storage for many years. Is the thick undercoating that's on there part of an option, or did they all come that way? The rear shocks are covered with undercoating. Does that mean the shocks are original? I just want to be sure I'm not missing...

    Re-use transmission fluid?

After I changed the transmission oil in my Coronet, I had to drain it out again because I realized my shifter seals were leaking and had to replace them. I did run the car for an hour or so with the new oil in the trans. Is it okay to re-use the oil? At 9 bucks a quart it cost me around 90-100...

    Many thanks to "dadsbee".

I changed my transmission fluid on my 67 Coronet 727 and it immediately started to leak fluid(see my previous post). I assumed it was the gasket not sealing properly, but alas, it appears to be coming from the shifter seals, as dadsbee suggested. So what can be done about that? I know Mopar did...

    Transmission oil pan conundrum.

I was watching a YouTube channel recently and a guy(Uncle Tony) said synthetic motor oil can seep through gaskets made of cork. I wondered if this can apply to synthetic transmission oil as well. I changed transmission oil on my '67 Coronet A727 using a Mahle brand gasket, which is cork with a...

What weight oil should I use in my 67 Coronet's 8 3/4 axle?

FSM says 90 weight for temps above -10. I've got 75-90 available in the shop, will that work?

I recently pulled a 67 Coronet 440(trim level) hardtop out my barn where it sat for 28 years. I call it Rip Van Winkle. It's in good shape so I plan to freshen up all the systems and make it my daily errand runner. I'll be posting questions soon about seat upholstery choices and gas tank...
