1962 Dodge. Pretty sure the car came standard without the variable speed switch but I didn't have one lying around so I threw a variable switch in. Switch is acting up, working then not working and not parking correctly when turned off.
Anyone know if there is a difference between the motors...
I've been hanging out, learning, researching and buying stuff from this site for over fifteen years. I finally have a car worthy of their MoPar of the month. Thanks Gary!

So according to the FSM for proper shift cable installation and adjustment you are to set the adjuster wheel two or three threads from the end of the cable. What it does not specify is which end are they referring to, the outer end or the inner end.
Anyone?
Can someone help me out? I need to install the seat back stops so, I need to see the location and screw size. Previous owner neglected to do this.
Thanks, Andrew
I'm assuming that the 'park', for lack of a better word, is located in the switch and not the wiper motor itself. I was having a problem with the wipers not 'parking' when I turned the switch to the off position. I had to turn to off then an 1/8th of a turn back on in order for them to stop. I...
Vehicle: '62 Dart that was once a /6 with a 904 trans. Now 440 w/727.
Conundrum: In order to adjust for neutral position the cable has been inserted past the o-ring causing the trans to leak at the cable. The adjuster wheel is damn near bottomed out on the threads (all the way in) and some of...
Ok, so I got one brake light out. I think I have it traced down to the turn signal switch in the column. Anyone els have a similar problem? Am I going to have to figure out how to disassemble the switch or just replace it. Any thoughts?
Alright everyone. I can only see one way to route my shift cable and it rests right on the exhaust. Not good. Are there different length cables for the 8 and 6 cylinder cars? The park and speedo cables fit perfectly in the retainer of which there is none that I can see for the shift cable. Even...
Previous owner had this car for five years in his garage. Hasn't been licensed in over a decade. Drove out of the garage on its own today. Still waiting for the door panels from SMS but look at that dash! Thanks to Gary @ GCAR.
Picked up a master cylinder from the auto parts shop that has two outlets. Mine have only one and I was wondering if I can just plug the extra outlet before I do the swap?
1962 Dodge and it was the only option in their book. Any thoughts?
Andrew
So I was doing my usual perusal of craigslist and found this listed. "1962 Plymouth Savoy /6 4 speed, make offer" Being that it was local I quickly called and went for a look. Needless to say I took it home with me.
At home with the Dart.
Floors are gone, three speed gone but I'm...
I know how much everyone, myself included, likes photos. I'm just waiting for a few more parts to get this Dart on the road. Trans mount and driveshaft loop en-route from Mancini will complete the motor install.
Restored instrument cluster from Gcar will complete the dash.
SMS will come...
I need a picture from someone with a Dart 2 door sedan, please. I bought a basket case that I am piecing together and I cannot find the image or info I need via the internet or my manual.
I need to see how the rear quarter window area goes together. I'm wondering how does the windlace...
A great big THANKS goes out to fellow b body fan, zia_ryder who whilst looking for parts found the letters I was missing for my project. Installed and one more thing off the list.
