Hey i was just wondering if the 65 Belvedere was a full frame or uni body also what size are the widest rear tires I can run

'65 Belvedere is a unit body car. I think a 255R60 x 15" would fit in there fine, depending on rim offset.

When I first got my car, it had 265/50-15 Gatorbacks on it all around with 15X8 Welds, 4" bs. Later when I replaced them, same wheels, used Cooper 275/60-15 in the back and 235/60-15 up front. No rub issues.

I was told several years ago that iff you move the front springs hangers into the corner of the rail and get offset shackles to match, I believe it was 1", then you could run a 315 profile with the proper rim dimensions and have no rub. I had my S60 diff set for that, bought the offset shackles, then changed directions. I bought the USCT package to move the springs into the rails plus the mini tubs. I'm hoping to be able to run up to a 345/355 profile but need to mount up some tires on my fixture to check.
